Actor Frederic March’s look changes constantly in the film. As the transformations continue, Hyde gets uglier and uglier, and Jekyll gets sicklier and sicklier. Further illustrating the idea that Hyde is slowly taking over.

Actor, Eric Stoltz was the original Marty McFly. He worked on the film for about 5 weeks before he was let go by director Robert Zemeckis, who said that as good as Stoltz was, his comedy timing was off. The studio agreed to his decision and Michael J. Fox was brought in. Fox was busy filming episodes of “Family Ties” and had to severely allergies schedule just so he could play the part of Marty McFly.
